Giraffe Manor is an exclusive boutique hotel, owned by The Safari Collection. Often referred to as one of the most instagrammed properties in the world, Giraffe Manor is set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest in the Langata suburb of Nairobi. This award-winning Kenya safari camp is set in the Amboseli eco-system within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy– an important wildlife dispersal area for wildlife moving out of Amboseli National Park. The private conservation area ensures the best possible game viewing in proper off-road safari vehicles, off the beaten track and away from other tourist vans and minibuses.
Porini Amboseli Safari Camp is small – with just 10 spacious guest tents – and retains all the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps of days gone by. The tents are tastefully furnished and have solar powered electric lighting with en suite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet. One of the tents is a a family unit consisting of of two rooms with a lounge in between. Each of the two rooms has a king size bed and a single bed, The high-quality, spacious family tent is tastefully furnished and has solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet) and a private veranda. The unit is ideal for families or group of friends traveling together and is at the same price per person as our other tents.
After breakfast, board your safari cruisers on a road transfer into Amboseli National Park, on arrival, check in at the Porini Amboseli Camp. Amboseli National Park is famous for hosting Africa's largest elephants. You will explore Amboseli via day and night game drives, sundown walks with Masai guides and a visit to the traditional local village.
Porini Amboseli Camp is situated in the Selenkay Conservation Area near the northern boundary of Amboseli National Park. The 9 luxury safari tents are delicately positioned under the Acacia Tortilis trees. The large comfortable tents are furnished with double or single beds, solar electric lights and an en-suite bathroom with safari shower and flush toilet.
Days 5 - 6: OL Pejeta Conservancy

Overview
This small and intimate safari eco- camp is located within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a vast 90000-acre wildlife area between the Aberdares and the majestic Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. Porini Rhino Camp is in a secluded valley, on the banks of a seasonal river and under the shade of acacia trees. The Kenyan safari camp in Ol Pejeta consists of just eight spacious and comfortable guest tents, each having been carefully sited to take advantage of the wonderful surrounding views. Each tent is tastefully furnished and has solar-power lighting and ensuite hot shower and flush toilet.
The camp is specially designed to have minimum environmental impact (with no permanent structures and using eco-friendly fuel). The newest tent is the family unit that is a H shaped and located about 20 metres from the main areas. The unit is made of high quality canvas, is spacious, each wing measuring 64 square metres and the lounge is 16 square metres. It consists of two rooms with a lounge in between. Each of the two rooms has a king size bed and a single bed, The high-quality, spacious tent is tastefully furnished and has solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet) and a private veranda. The unit is ideal for families or group of friends traveling together and is at the same price per person as our other tents.
The camp has the benefit of a wildlife viewing hide which enables guests to observe and photograph wildlife safely, yet in close proximity. The hide has been carefully placed to enhance wildlife-viewing right in front of camp, and with the peaceful setting and the animals freely strolling in, guests can really immerse themselves in the surroundings and feel part of nature
After the final game activities and a light breakfast at Porini Amboseli Camp, guests are transferred for a scheduled light air transfer to the Nanyuki Airstrip. Upon arrival they will be met and road transferred to the Porini Rhino camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia.
Porini Rhino Camp is a tented safari camp set at the bottom of the Laikipia Plateau on a gorgeous semi permanent stream. The camp consists of 6 spacious guest tents, each comfortably furnished with ensuite bathrooms. The camp is very environmentally-friendly with solar powered lighting and no generator, so there is a real ambience of wild Africa.

Overview
Porini Mara Camp is a non-seasonal safari camp set in Ol Kinyei Conservancy – an 18700 acre wilderness set aside as a wildlife sanctuary with a wide variety of species including big cats. The area has open plains, forests, rivers and stunning views. This setting provides the ultimate African safari holiday adventure in an unspoilt area, away from the crowds. Safari game drives can also be taken in the nearby Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy.
The award-winning Porini Mara Camp is located in a unique and beautiful setting under yellow-barked Acacia trees along the banks of the Laetoli. The Mara camp contains just five spacious guest tents and one family unit. Porini Mara Camp has an exclusive yet friendly feel, with each tent containing comfortable furnishings and ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet). The camp Chef uses fresh ingredients to prepare high quality meals and even home-baked bread. Porini Mara Camp is fully-inclusive of meals, drinks (vodka, gin & tonics, wine, beer, sodas and mineral water) and all activities (including day and night game drives, sundowners and escorted walks). There is also the opportunity to book a Hot Air Balloon Safari. Game drives (shared) are in 4×4 safari vehicles with expert safari guides and you will experience the wilderness without the presence of other tourist vehicles
On the sixth morning of the safari, guests are transferred by road to Nanyuki airstrip for a scheduled light air transfer to the Masai Mara, Olare Orok Conservancy. Upon arrival guests are met and road transferred to Porini Mara Camp where they will spend the final 2 nights of the safari.
Porini Mara Camp is located less than 18km from the Masai Mara park boundary, giving it the perfect gateway into the famous park from their private conservancy. Porini means 'in the wilds' and the camp keeps true to its meaning - it is an open safari camp making it not uncommon for guests to receive nightly visits from grazing buffalo and elephant.
Day 9: Depart, Transfer Nairobi
After an early breakfast, you’ll you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your maiden air transfer to Nairobi. You will arrive in time for a late lunch and thereafter transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Here, we will wave a fond farewell to you and your family as your once-in-a-lifetime Kenyan safari comes to an end.
