Overview
Campi ya Kanzi is an award-winning boutique eco-lodge in the Chyulu Hills of southern Kenya, in Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa”. For more than 20 years, the camp was the only Kenya luxury safari lodge on a Maasai-owned reserve spanning 283,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The Hills volcanic summits are covered in a rich green cloud forest, home to a completely different array of trees, flowers, insects, birds, and mammals. This special Maasai land supports amazing wildlife, with immense biodiversity, including zebra, giraffe, antelopes, and apex predators like lions and leopards for game viewing.
Campi ya Kanzi is widely recognized as one of the most inspiring and eco-friendly safari experiences in Africa. A luxury camp offering an incomparable combination of 5-star luxury, first class wilderness adventure, amazing wildlife, and authentic immersion in Maasai culture. This is truly the ultimate African safari.
Campi ya Kanzi has a unique commitment to community development and environmental sustainability: we are leaders in real ecotourism, engaging the local Maasai in benefiting from the wilderness with thriving wildlife, we are 100% solar and carbon neutral. We offer luxurious comfort, thrilling outdoor adventure, memorable wildlife encounters, and authentic connection to the Maasai people. In front of Kilimanjaro, with a Maasai warrior taking you on safari, among elephants and lions, you will experience your dream African adventure
Begin your safari from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, ready to board a charter flight to the Chyulu Hills in the Tsavo West National Park. At the airstrip, a guide will be there to meet you and transfer you to Campi ya Kanzi, enjoying a game drive en route. After lunch, there will be some time to settle in and head out on an afternoon game drive. Stay: Campi ya Kanzi
Spend the next couple of days of your East African safari exploring the private conservancy on guided game drives and bush walks in search of the Big Five. As it is in a private conservancy, night game drives are allowed, this is a great opportunity to see nocturnally active animals such as Leopard. Experience the bush on horseback, canter alongside the zebra and giraffe. Watch the ever-changing landscape as you ride past on a mountain bike or relax and be pampered with a massage. A Kenyan safari can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you want it to be.

Located high above the floor of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, Angama Mara is a remarkable owner-run safari lodge overlooking Kenya’s Maasai Mara, considered by many as the loveliest game reserve on the continent. Here guests will find a lodge where everything is as it ought to be: two intimate camps of just fifteen tented suites each, a private airfield and access to the Mara below, tailor-made safari days and a famously warm Kenyan welcome.
Perched right on the edge of the escarpment, each of Angama Mara’s spacious 100 sqm Tented Suites has floor-to-ceiling glass spanning all along the front to make the most of the dramatic views. The interiors are uncluttered, classic and above all, comfortable with splashes of Maasai Red, French Khaki, copper and brass. Guests staying at Angama Mara are faced with many choices of how they wish to spend their day. Sunrise hot-air balloon safaris, photographing Africa’s abundant wildlife, walking on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, or visiting a Maasai family in their home – these are just a few of the adventures on offer.

Overview
Some destinations are timeless; others are often well kept secrets. Lying south of Mombasa, Kenya, on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Afrochic Diani is the perfect getaway for the discerning traveller who wants to simply ‘flop and drop’ and enjoy the spectacular views of exotic and ancient dhows in full sail. This exclusively intimate hotel - with only 10 guest rooms each with their own en suite bathroom, balcony and sun-loungers - is singularly personable and highly individual.
In these days of large inventory beach hotels, Afrochic’s unique and eclectic style of interiors and designs makes a refreshing change from the standard alternatives. Miles of expansive and near deserted beaches await discovery, and for those who wish a more active way to spend the day, an 18 hole Championship Golf Course is within three minutes drive from the hotel. Local boutiques, spas, and craft markets are a short ride away, and day trips to Shimba Hills Reserve and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary add to the Kenyan coastal experience.
AfroChic is certainly one of Africa’s best kept secrets. It is a marriage of romance, African style and all that is best in East African hospitality. AfroChic is certainly a jewel in the Elewana Collection, and one that continues to shine brighter than ever.
On this day of your East African safari, leave the savannahs behind, and fly to the beautiful white beaches of the Kenyan south coast. Stay in a beautiful beach villa that overlooks the Indian Ocean. Relax in the warm sunshine down on the sandy white beach and sip on a cocktail after a dip in the ocean or pool. In the evening, dine on a delicious meal of freshly prepared seafood. Stay: Afrochic Diani
The Afrochic Diani - set out in a traditional dugout canoe (Ngalawa) with a local fisherman and go snorkelling among the vibrant coral reefs. Be pampered with a rejuvenating massage or let the lodge arrange a number of optional activities for you. Diving, kite surfing, horse riding, Jet-ski, dolphin safaris and deep-sea fishing can all be arranged.
