Campi ya Kanzi is an award-winning boutique eco-lodge in the Chyulu Hills of southern Kenya, in Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa”. For more than 20 years, the camp was the only Kenya luxury safari lodge on a Maasai-owned reserve spanning 283,000 acres of pristine wilderness. Arrive at Nairobi, transfer to Wilson Airport for a charter flight to Kampi Ya Kanzi for 2 nights. A representative will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and ensure you board your charter flight to Kampi Ya Kanzi.
Mount Kilimanjaro serves as the backdrop for the specatacular Kampi Ya Kanzi, which lies on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills in the Amboseli. The camp lies in the heart of the Kuku Group Ranch, which is owned by 3000 Maasai. There are 8 ensuite luxury tented cottages, all raised under thatch. Overview
Saruni Samburu is a deluxe, design lodge located in Kenya’s wild north. It is the only lodge in Kalama Conservancy, which borders Samburu National Reserve, with 200,000 acres of unspoiled wilderness to explore and enjoy exclusively. Perched on a spectacular viewpoint, its six luxury villas are open and spacious, heralding spectacular views over Kenya’s Northern Frontier District and Mount Kenya in the distance. Each villa is very private with zip fronted canvas, and large lounge areas, indoor baths and outdoor showers.
Guests can enjoy the vast panoramas from the dining and lounge area, the two infinity pools and the Samburu Wellbeing Space. Nearby there is a ground-level photographic hide next to a waterhole where the famous Samburu elephant, leopard, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx and Grevy’s zebra gather to drink. Fly to Wilson Airport and connect to Saruni Samburu for 2 nights. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport and then onto Samburu.

Overview
Located in the heart of Laikipia Plateau, just north of the Equator in Kenya, Segera is a unique destination with both arid and savannah landscapes. Just eight luxury villas in a private game reserve of 50,000 acres in the foothills of Mt Kenya makes Segera very private and exclusive. See all of the Big Five in addition to rarer species such as Wild Dog, Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. The reserve enjoys stunning landscapes, including views of Mount Kenya right from the lodge.
Segera’s elegant six timber and thatch villas, raised above a wild, botanical profusion, offer views towards snow-capped Mount Kenya. Each large, en-suite bedroom, with high-pitched roofs and crisp-white linens, has a private deck with sun loungers, swing bed, and sunken jacuzzi. The recently restored farmhouse homestead, gracious Segera House, and Villa Segera spoil with even greater privacy and luxury. By game vehicle explore the historic savannah, rich with various plains game as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyaenas, elephants, buffalos, reticulated giraffes, African wild dogs, Grévy’s zebras, the Endangered patas monkey, and a recorded 365 bird species. Let a guided nature walk show you less obvious flora and fauna, and wow you with this wilderness’ vastness. Get up close to the animals from a hide, or spot them from afar at one of the local lookout points. Take to the skies and helicopter over the magnificent Rift Valley and Great Lakes. Day 7 begins with a road transfer to Segera Retreat where you will stay for 3 nights. After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Segera. Segera Retreat is located in an oasis on the Laikipia Plateau. Accommodation is in the style of villas made from timber and thatch, nestled in landscaped gardens. Raised wooden platforms overlook the savannah and Mount Kenya. Guests can enjoy cuisine made from home-grown ingredients and a wealth of things to do, such as bush walks, game drives, cultural tours and spending time with anti-poaching staff learning about the methods used to conserve wildlife.
Segera Retreat is a splash of green in a golden savannah. With a legacy of true Kenyan ranch life set against the filmic grasslands that landscape the foothills of Mount Kenya, Segera has been rejuvenated into a fertile home for conservation, community, culture and commerce. Inspired by the Swahili word for ‘suspended in mid-air’. Located high above the floor of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, Angama Mara is a remarkable owner-run safari lodge overlooking Kenya’s Maasai Mara, considered by many as the loveliest game reserve on the continent. Here guests will find a lodge where everything is as it ought to be: two intimate camps of just fifteen tented suites each, a private airfield and access to the Mara below, tailor-made safari days and a famously warm Kenyan welcome.
Perched right on the edge of the escarpment, each of Angama Mara’s spacious 100 sqm Tented Suites has floor-to-ceiling glass spanning all along the front to make the most of the dramatic views. The interiors are uncluttered, classic and above all, comfortable with splashes of Maasai Red, French Khaki, copper and brass. Guests staying at Angama Mara are faced with many choices of how they wish to spend their day. Sunrise hot-air balloon safaris, photographing Africa’s abundant wildlife, walking on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, or visiting a Maasai family in their home – these are just a few of the adventures on offer.
Take a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy a game drive from the airstrip enroute to your lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drives, followed by dinner under the stars at the lodge. At breakfast each day, plan your day with your Camp Manager. Just before the golden rays strike the earth descend into the heavens on a spectacular hot-air balloon. Enjoy an exhilarating night drive with stunning wildlife perfectly illuminated in the deep black of the night. Or go on a nature walk through the Masai Mara with your guide. Stay: Mara Angama Camp.
The Maasai Mara experience is an exhilarating one! During the day, you go on a game drive through Masai Mara. The game reserve is best known for its wildebeest and zebra migration, which tends to pass through the area July to October, but many areas offer excellent game viewing year round. Breakfast and lunch at camp. We offer you the option to go on a balloon safari (for a surcharge) and to enjoy the bird’s eye view of Kenya.
Day 12: Depart, Fly Nairobi
Enjoy your last early morning swim in the sea and breakfast before we wave a fond farewell as you make your way back to the airstrip. From here, you will board your scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, where you will be picked up by our appointed safari guide who will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
