House Of Waine is a family owned and run property and this is reflected in the name Waine which is made up of the initials of the family members. Originally a family House Of Waine, it was lovingly converted to a boutique hotel and eventually opened in 2004. The interior design takes its cue from the Matriarch of the family and is imbued with a timeless elegance much like her.
The hotel has 11 spacious rooms that are individually styled and their names reflect the different themes. 9 of the rooms can be Single/ Double or Twin rooms . All the large marble bathrooms are filled with natural light from the large windows
Upon arrival you will be picked up by your safari guide and transferred to House of Waine. A smallish 11 bed-roomed hotel, the House of Waine is known for its attention to detail, and for the design of its rooms, all of which are slightly different. Shared areas include a lounge, a dining room, terraces, a heated pool (complete with pavilion and outdoor bar) and a main bar.

Set in the heart of its own 3,000 acre private conservancy and in one of the richest game areas in Kenya. Tawi Lodge is an eco award winning lodge, combining unpretentious comfort with subtle accents of style coupled with traditional East African hospitality.
The lodge and cottages sprawl along the edge of dry acacia woodland with Mount Kilimanjaro standing proudly above. Elephants often pass right closeby, gently allowing close absorption into their secret lives, from the comfort of the cottage decks. Each of the “elegantly rustic” cottages are richly appointed, most with incredible views looking out over the mountain, the cottages have spacious bedrooms, private decks, en-suite bathrooms, with both bathtub and shower each cottage has large, snug 4-poster beds.
Inspired by the exotic ingredients and vibrant colours of East Africa, the team of chefs concoct innovative and tasty meals of fresh locally available ingredients. Delicious candle-lit dinners are served by the warmth of the fireplace, or under the stars, Kilimanjaro presiding as the backdrop. We aim to please at Tawi and we love experimenting with new dishes, presentations, always aiming to create fresh, novel meals for any dietary requirements.
Fresh organic home grown veggies and greens are picked daily from our luscious lodge gardens. Everything we can make from the lodge kitchen we do, from yoghurts, fresh juices, breads and our breakfast cereals
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Wilson Airport, where you will board a flight to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is one of the best known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Adventures include twice-daily game drives in open safari vehicles, walks in the conservancy (led by expert Maasai guides), cultural tours and decadent bush breakfasts. Spend your day on exciting game drives, looking for lions and cheetahs as they hide from the heat or amble out to hunt. See the warm, golden sun set over the grasslands and mighty mountain from atop prehistoric Observation Hill.

Overview
Unashamedly romantic and beautifully styled, Elsa’s Kopje is sculpted into Mughwango Hill, above the site of George Adamson’s original camp where he raised and released orphan lions, long before conservation became fashionable. Each cottage is crafted around the rocks, with a large bedroom, open sitting room, veranda and spacious bathroom, each with breathtaking views.
Guests can enjoy inimitable seclusion in the vast expanse of Elsa’s Kopje, boasting 870km² , the equivalent of 215,000 acres, of authentic African landscape. The park offers a thriving rhino sanctuary, and is famous for large elephant herds, hippo, lion, and birdlife; Meru National Park is recognised as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa.
The rugged and remote Meru National Park was rescued from oblivion thanks to Elsa’s Kopje, an environmental award-winning, boutique lodge. Winner of the Good Safari Guide’s ‘Best Safari Property in Africa’ award, Elsa’s Kopje is widely renowned as one of the most elegant lodges in Africa.
Elsa’s Kopje was designed and built by Stefano Cheli, officially opened by Dr. Richard Leakey (Director of Kenya Wildlife Service at the time), and Virginia McKenna of Born Free fame in 1999. One of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, Liz & Stefano included Meru National Park on most of their mobile tented safaris.
After breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight to Meru National Park. Made famous by conservationist Joy Adamson and the film based on her book “Born Free”, Meru National Park features 13 rivers and supports a wide range of diverse habitats. A paradise for bird watchers, there are several rare bird species found here. In the unspoilt and rugged landscape of Meru, enjoy game drives, safari walks or a cultural visit to the local community. Meru National park offers the widest variety of landscapes and habitats together with different varieties of Flora and Fauna. Overview
Perched on the edge of a river valley, the architecture of Sasaab blends Swahili and Moroccan design principals in which the African heat is of primary consideration. Each of the nine canvas-sided rooms is over 100m² with private plunge pools and breath-taking views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya. Its position above the river naturally facilitates watching the herds of elephant that come to bathe below as well as a host of other wildlife.
Sasaab is a spectacular luxury tented camp offering the ultimate safari in Samburu. Situated just outside Samburu National Reserve in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, the landscape is dotted with mountains, wildlife and a rich cultural heritage. It is a place of abundant natural diversity with an astounding number of animals, from elephants to cheetah and wild dogs to the ‘Samburu Special Five’ (five species unique to the area): the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich.

After breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip where your flight will be awaiting to take you to Samburu, Sasaab Luxury Tented Camp. Enjoy twice daily game drives where you might see huge majestic elephant, lion, leopard and cheetah and all of the ‘special five’ which include the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. In the hot and arid lowlands of the Northern districts of Kenya, featuring doum palms and over 450 species of birds, there are interesting experiences to keep you fascinated over the next day or two.
Visit a Samburu community and learn about their way of life and culture. Take a camel safari, or even spend the night under the stars in a fly camp. Or enjoy your camp, overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River, where the world melts away. Stay: 2 Nights at Sasaab Luxury Tented Camp

Overview
Set amongst the forest at the foot of the scenic Oloololo escarpment (the rim of the Great Rift Valley) in Kenya’s iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, is the classic and elegant Bateleur Camp. Comprised of just two intimate camps of nine tented suites each and a family tent; each elegant tent, with its own private butler and housekeeper reflects the ambiance and glamour of Kenyan explorers of old. Slip into a world of hardwood floors, polished silver and copper bathtubs juxtaposed against the romance of the open Mara plains, with their abundant herds of wildlife. Beautifully handcrafted artefacts, fine antiques, leather buttoned Chesterfield sofas, books, and crystal and candlelight adorn the comfortable sitting and dining areas.
Refreshing lap pools in each camp provide cool comfort in between captivating game drives. Delectable cuisine is served in a memorable setting beneath the stars and bush breakfasts and romantic sundowners offer an unforgettable African experience. Adventures at Bateleur Camp include twice-daily game drives, including spot-lit night drives. The camp also offers a range of additional activities such as bush walks, hot air balloon safaris, community excursions, a well- equipped gym and wellness treatments in our massage sala.
After a wholesome breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Over the next few days take time to explore this wilderness area on game drives, walks or perhaps even spoil yourselves on a hot air balloon safari. Be utterly enchanted by this reserve, world-famous and for good reason. Stay: 2 Nights at &Beyond Bateleur Camp.
The Maasai Mara experience is an exhilarating one! During the day, you go on a game drive through Masai Mara. The game reserve is best known for its wildebeest and zebra migration, which tends to pass through the area July to October, but many areas offer excellent game viewing year round. Breakfast and lunch at camp. We offer you the option to go on a balloon safari (for a surcharge) and to enjoy the bird’s eye view of Kenya.
Day 12: Depart, Fly Nairobi
Enjoy your last early morning swim in the sea and breakfast before we wave a fond farewell as you make your way back to the airstrip. From here, you will board your scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, where you will be picked up by our appointed safari guide who will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
